Wonderland in Alice

Today's meeting highlight:

I'm glad to see that there's some animation done/ or at least has finally began. Animators have to update every week what shot you are going to do or continue to work on. Please have the initiative to inform me or at least write in the blog on what shots you will work on.

Wonderland

I have edited the Wonderland. Now the problems are there are too many things and proportion of the carrots. So, the placement of the carrots may change.

Dear Merissa, I need you to draw a model sheet so that I know the proportion of the the carrots is to Alice. I can't just scale any size I want to. Also, I realize that the detailed sketch of the carrot house that you drew long ago is different from the overview sketch that you post recently. Please be consistent and tell me which one I should follow.

Dear Cheryl, I like the colour test you have done. Perhaps you can try a few more colour tests before your texturing team proceed to the lighting and texturing. Perhaps you can colour the portal in detail so that we would know exactly what kind of effects are needed to put in for the portal. You may want to do some research/reference on effects before deciding on what effects to be used.

Also, for the Wonderland there's a long, long path. What I intend to do is once the model, texture, lighting of the wonderland is done, I will render the environment as a image plane and then put it behind the actual model. This will save a lot of the render time in the render farm.

Model of mum and dad

I can see that the progress is going smoothly but a little bit slow.
Model and rig of mum: 31st July (duration: 1 week)
Model and rig of dad: 7th of August (duration: 1 week)

That's okay. I think you may need to change a little bit for the mum's forehead. Please remember to delete history and freeze transformation berfore you rig. I do not want the same mistake again.

*sigh* no choice...
