For the composition/layout/ placement of the carrots, I will do it while I animate. I may add in more carrots depending on the camera angles. I was thinking that maybe some bunnies can be standing on top of the carrots, peeking on Alice.

okay, mm i think the bunny statue (doorway) should be bigger in proportion to the stairs? i think just the 'body' of the bunny, the doorway should be the stair's size ( see drawing previously) and the bunny shape is a hole ( it's like a keyhole) light can come through and can see vanishing point through it.
the stairs can it have the details i had in the drawing? like it's not so equal it's like twisted and has twirls extruded from the corners?~ and and the top is smaller and the last step is bigger. and they are like pieces of paper not solid blocks, is that possible?
and the bunny house is not really followin my concept, i think? yours are checkered tiled carrots but mine's twisted weird shaped checkered windows on it, if you think that's better then ok,
the vines coming from the statue right? can make them thicker like arms from bunny? then gradually thinner when reach the carrots. ( like in my sketch), i think better ah, and the vines on the bigger carrots can be more thick and round and like creeping vines /weeds cause right now a bit like the string you spray from cans, sorta want it to have more life on it's own like it can move on it's own..
and the heart shaped carrots i think the ones behind if you want it there, can at make them higher so can see the heart, now looks a bit like huda reminded me like our goat altar thing, the twirly is good. and i think the leaves make the thing look really feel like a whimsical jungle (heh i dont know)i previously drew the leaves like aloe vera twirly leaves
im not sure about the dangling stars cause last time my concepts also had a lot of dangling things but for this wonderland it's a bit more underline creepy whimsical tone.
but it's either make the star more whimsical shaped (i can draw for you) or not dangle them that way? i was thinking like the vines grabbed hold of them from the sky for Alice ^^ okay.
